Locked down in the Manshed 9. A poem by Eamonn Fitzgerald

What if it never happened?
What if it’s all a dream?
But I think we’ve all woke up,
To the nightmare with a scream.
What is our normal life to be?
Nothing like it ever seems.

For now, we all must stand firm
And follow all the rules.
We’re already back to work,
And soon be back to schools.
But i’ll spend more time in my shed
Working with my sharpened tools.

………..

I own a Manshed where I make stuff and think about stuff, and recently, I’ve been writing about stuff.
